Keeping up with Sales Training in an online world

There are many avenues out there for sales executives to keep up to date on sales tips (such as this one). I wanted to give a couple different recommendations to aid your quest for knowledge.

1. Blogs.

There are many blogs out there. These are often the best way because they are usually unedited and come from personal experience. This raw type of sales training is passed from sales person to sales person can prove extremely useful. To find these blogs visit “Blog Catalog” and check out their search results for blogs.

2. Trade websites.

There are numerous trade websites set up to give free advice to sales executives. These websites often give a unique perspective on sales help and really provide solid sales help and sales training.

3. social networking sites.

Sites like “Linked In” offer networking with sales professionals from across the globe. They also offer sales associations and “groups” where you can join and stay current by reading forums and blog posts.

It’s important to try and keep a routine going. I spend about 30 min a day keeping current with my trade. I research news articles and read perspectives on new techniques. It’s important to keep up with the times and stay on top of your craft.
